Teahupo'o

This painting was an idea I had of making the scene almost as if it were a fish eye photo. The idea was to give you a wide spread area in a small space and make the picture nice and open. I also wanted to demonstrate the shear power a wave like Teahupo'o offers.

Secret Cove

Here's another painting that was just from the imagination. There are several spots on the outer islands of Hawai'i that resemble this set up. You just have to know how to get there.

In this painting, I really tried to play with how the light would be hitting everything differently. Acrylic on canvas.
