Deep Blue Reef
I did this painting with the idea of creating a vantage point from paddling out into a big open reef pass so common in the South Pacific. I wanted to really add a different element to the painting by adding a bit of an abstract sky of blended green's. Although the painting appears to be somewhat simplistic, it was a very time consuming process with the sky and foreground.
Acrylic on canvas. Sold.

Tropical Pointbreak
Here's a painting for every Surfer's dream. An unheard of, desolate point break in a tropical, warm setting. I chose to paint this Black and White as if it were in a dream. Acrylic on canvas, available for sale.

Shore Break
This painting was inspired by the idea of a desolate area on a hidden part of the outer islands of Hawai'i. I thought I would mix it up a bit and painted over canvas and newspaper to give it a little 3D effect. I'm not sure if I'm a big fan of mixed surfaces but this turned out kind've cool.
